DYEING
Are the
colours fast after re-dying?
Yes. The colours are very fast. They are permanent colours.
Will the silk sarees become weak after
dying?
No. This will not happen because of
dyeing. The sarees will only get a new look and become fresh
because it is washed in water, the thread becomes strong and colours
become fast similar to silk thread becoming strong when curated by
water.
Can the
stains be covered by dyeing?
Yes. All most all the stains can be
covered except oil painting colors because they are water repellent.
Can we wash
the silk sarees at home?
No. It is advisable to do dry cleaning.
How often
can the silk saree be dry cleaned?
After using it for five or six times
or once in a year, silk sarees can be dry cleaned to maintain the
new look.
Will all
the dirt and stains be cleaned by dry cleaning?
No. Only the dirt can be cleaned,
some of the stains cannot be cleaned. However, we can dye the silk
saree which will cover all the stains.
When should
the new silk saree be washed for first time?
The first wash cna be done after one
year of the saree purchase.We do special dry cleaning using MTO
(Mineral Turpentine Oil). This ensures the color or material of the
saree is not affected.
Is it
possible to dye the silk saree border and body dyed separately in
two different colours?
Yes. It is possible.
Is it
possible to dye jeans and cotton pants?
Yes. It is possible.
Can cotton
T-shirts be redyed?
Yes. It is possible to dye cotton
T-Shirts.
Can cotton
Churidhar, Salwar suits be re-dyed?
Yes. It is possible.
Can
bedsheets, pillow covers and curtains be re-dyed?
Yes. It is possible.
Can cotton
carpets be re-dyed?
Yes. It can re-dyed in plain colours.
Will the
jari become dull after dyeing?
No. If it is silver jari it will
become more shining. Only poor quality jari will become dull.
How much
will it cost to do a dyeing or dry cleaning?
It will depend on the saree type and
quantity of jari. Please contact our branch for more details.
EMBROIDERY
Can
embroidery be done on only on new silk sarees?
No. Even used silk sarees can be
embroidered to give a new look to it with a matching blouse.
Can
embroidery be done on a stitched blouse?
Yes. It is possible.
Can
embroidery be done on Salwar suits and Kurtis?
Yes. Simple to exclusive embroidery
can be done on any kind of dresses.
Can office
logos be embroidered?
Yes. It is possible to embroider
school emblems, office logos or special pattern dresses or uniforms
can be done with embroidery.
Is special
bridal / designer possible?
Yes. We are famous for our exclusive
bridal and designer embroidery.
What other
special embroidery do you do?
Ethnic design of very old sarees can
also be transplanted on a new saree by a kind of embroidery.
What is the cost of embroidery?
It depends on the design and

PRINTING
Can
used/faded/stained sarees or dresses be printed?
Yes. There are some varieties of
printing namely over printing, discharge printing or metallic color
printing like gold, silver and copper which can be done on these
sarees and dresses.
Can
polyester sarees be printed?
Yes. We print polyester sarees.
Can cotton
sarees be printed?
Yes. We have hundreds of hand block
printing designs you can choose fom.
Can I give
my own specific design for printing?
Yes. It is possible provided the
quantity to be printed is enough.
STITCHING
What kind
of dresses do you stitch at Sri Ramlok & Co.?
All dresses including blouses,
salwar kameez, chudi sets, designer patialas, gagra cholis, ladies
pants & shirts, etc can be stitched.
What kind
of blouses can be stitched?
All pattern/designer blouses can be
stitched with or without embroidery.
Do you
stitch night dresses?
Yes. We stitch all patterns of night
dresses.
Do you
stitch school uniforms?
Yes. We undertake bulk or single
orders also. We also supply Sports uniforms and
T-Shirts with specific emblems for schools and organizations.
INVISIBLE DAWNING
Can torn
sarees/clothes be rectified?
By darning the cloth with the same
thread, it is possible to make torn portion invisible.
